The American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) guidelines recommend multigene panel germline testing for patients with ovarian carcinoma; this includes, at least, BRCA1, BRCA2, RAD51C, RAD51D, BRIP1, MLH1, MSH2, MSH6, PMS2, and PALB2, as these have been associated with the risk of inherited ovarian cancer [1]. Here, RAD51C is linked to ovarian carcinoma.
