Six candidate genes for endometriosis showed a high diagnostic capacity, with an AUC of 1.000 (95% CI 1.000–1.000) for SCG2, an AUC of 0.840 (95% CI 0.658–1.000) for GER1, an AUC of 0.930 (95% CI 0.807–1.000) for ASPN, an AUC of 0.990 (95% CI 0.958–1.000) for SLIT2, an AUC of 0.805 (95% CI 0.607–1.000) for FOS, and an AUC of 0.800 (95% CI 0.591–1.000) for GEM (Figure 4). The gene discussed is GEM; the disease is endometriosis.
