Cui et al. demonstrated that the pseudogene-derived lncRNA WFDC21P is highly expressed in gastric cancer (GC) tissues [15], and showed that the overexpression of WFDC21P induced cell growth and metastasis in GC cell lines through the modulation of the AKT/GSK3β/β-catenin axis. The gene discussed is GSK3B; the disease is gastric cancer.
