Currently, antibodies for chemerin neutralization [152], synthetic chemerin peptide [23], small-molecule antagonists for CMKLR1 (α-NETA [153] and CCX832 [154]), and nanobodies for CMKLR1 [155] were developed, and these reagents were shown to display effective therapeutic effects in several animal disease models. This evidence concerns the gene CMKLR1 and non-human animal disease.
