G3BP2 and hepatocellular carcinoma: ATAD2 acts directly on E2F2 and also negatively regulates miR-520a, which in turn increases E2F2 expression to promote hepatocellular carcinoma cell growth, and ATAD2 inhibits the expression of endoplasmic reticulum oxidoreductin 1 (ERO1L) and Ras-GTPase-activating protein-SH3-domain-binding protein 2 (G3BP2), which enhance the migration of hepatocellular carcinoma cells (Figure 2) [24].
