As shown in the IHC pathology of lymph nodes, a large amount of IGFBP2 (tan substance) was deposited in the cytoplasm of T cells between the follicles (Fig. 4D), indicating that the significantly increased level of IGFBP2 in the plasma and organ tissues may be involved in the pathogenesis of SLE. Here, IGFBP2 is linked to systemic lupus erythematosus.
