The observed rates for six variables (albumin ≤ 2.7 g/dL; AST > 104 U/I; ALT > 141 U/I; platelet count ≤ 97 × 103/μL; PTT > 28.5 s; positive dengue IgM) resulted in risk scores for severe infections of 6.8, 4.8, 9.2, 3.1, 6.8 and 7.9, respectively. This evidence concerns the gene ALB and dengue disease.
