Glycodelin (GLY, 47 kDa) protein presented in the bloodstream is a promising biomarker for endometriosis and was successfully detected using a SWV immunosensing platform with a detection limit (LOD) of 430 pg/mL Gly values for healthy women in the range of 5000–31 × 103 pg/mL, while for women with endometriosis is >39 × 103 pg/mL. This evidence concerns the gene PAEP and endometriosis.
