IL10 and colitis: Several in vivo studies indicated that anti-CXCL10 antibodies could inhibit epithelial ulceration in a UC murine model (Sasaki et al., 2002), attenuate inflammation in IL10−/− mice (Singh et al., 2003), and reduce colitis by compromising T helper type 1 (Th1) induction and recruitment (Hyun et al., 2005).
