In this study, the results showed that CCL25/CCR9 could increase the expression of MMP2 and MMP9 by activating PI3K/AKT in SACC, which was confirmed in xenograft tumor mice, suggesting that CCL25/CCR9-activated PI3K/AKT might modulate MMPs through the transcription factor SLUG. Here, CCL25 is linked to neoplasm.
