We revealed the presence, in Kdm1bOVER cells, of open peaks for genes involved in cancer stemness (Klf4, Myc, Pou5f1, Sox2, Nanog and Hes1), embryonic development (Tbx4), EMT (Gata6 and Tfcp2), cancer cell invasiveness and metastatization (Spire1 and Trpm4), tumorigenesis, tumor progression and therapy resistance (Csf1r, Itga, Baiap and Slc6a6) and immune escape (Gpr17) (Extended Data Fig. 5c). Here, TRPM4 is linked to cancer.
