Transcriptomic analyses showed further evidence of SIV replication in CD4 T cells, as shown by upregulation of HIV infection pathways (mLNs, NES = 1.38, FDR q value = 0.02; pLNs, NES = 1.55, FDR q value = 0.02) (Fig. 5B). This evidence concerns the gene CD4 and HIV infectious disease.
