The combination of PIC + RT + anti-CTLA-4 in this tumor model rendered 62.5% (5/8) of mice disease-free, vs. only 37.5% (3/8) of mice treated with RT + anti-CTLA-4; this was associated with a significant improvement in tumor growth inhibition and overall mice survival (Fig. 6b–d).
