CXCL8 and oral lichen planus: H. pylori infection was also closely correlated to the erosive OLP (Li et al., 2021) as H. pylori infection increased the production of inflammatory cytokines IL-6 and IL-8, while these inflammatory cytokines may regulate the oral immune microenvironment through blood to exacerbate the inflammatory response in oral cavity (Du Teil Espina et al., 2019).
