A mouse model of colorectal cancer (CT26) treated with anti-VEGF-A agents (either antibodies or tyrosine kinase inhibitors) resulted in the reduction of PD-1 expression on intratumoral CD8+ T cells, restoration of IFN-γ production by those CD8+ T cells, and reduction in the number of Tregs in the spleen (65). Here, CD8A is linked to colorectal cancer.
