CRP and infection: CRP levels ≥231.3 mg/L (AUC=0.81, sensitivity=0.89, specificity=0.73) and ≥230 mg/L (AUC=0.82, sensitivity=0.83, specificity=0.71) at 3rd postoperative day were found to be the sensitive cutoff point for predicting infection at day 14 and 28 post-operative days respectively (Fig. 1 and 2).
