They concluded that strong expression of CK13 in normal epithelium, ki67 and p53 in lower layers of normal epithelium, CK13 and CK17 in upper layers of epithelial dysplasia and cancerous lesions, and CK17, Ki67, and p53 in lower layers of epithelial dysplasia and cancerous lesions were found in this study [10]. The gene discussed is KRT13; the disease is intraepithelial neoplasia.
