MAD1L1 and nasopharyngeal carcinoma: These analyses identified several genes that harbored cell-type-specific differences in DNAm between SZ and NPC subjects including mitotic arrest deficient 1-like 1 (MAD1L1), a gene within one of the 270 SZ risk loci identified in the largest GWAS study to date and one of 130 genes thought highly likely to explain the association between GWAS loci and SZ [3].
