Based on the phase III ICARIA-MM and IKEMA studies, isatuximab (Sarclisa), a monoclonal antibody that targets a specific epitope of CD38, is approved in a number of countries in combination with pomalidomide and dexamethasone or carfilzomib and dexamethasone, for the treatment of adult patients with relapsed/refractory MM who have received prior therapy.4, 5, 6 Currently, there are no data on the activity of isatuximab in solid tumors.
