To further validate whether the mevalonate pathway is critical for Treg biology and whether Lkb1 affects Treg function by regulating mevalonate pathways in the progression of DLBCL, we investigated the cytotoxicity assay of CD8+ T cells with Tregs in which HMGCR or HMGCS had been silenced, resulting in decreased suppression function of the cytotoxic activity against SU-DHL4 cells (Fig. 6G).
