The four most common fusions TBL1XR1-PIK3CA, MET-MET, WHSC1L1-FGFR1 and FGFR3-TACC3 representing 61% of all fusions were detected in a broad range of tumour types (Fig 2 and S6–S8 Tables). The gene discussed is FGFR1; the disease is neoplasm.
