GPX4 and central nervous system cancer: The chaperone HSPA5 is involved in ferroptosis (Zhu et al., 2017) and contributes to an iron‐dependent non‐apoptotic cell death that stabilizes GPx4 and indirectly attenuates lipid peroxidation in glioma cells (Chen et al., 2019); therefore, we excluded HSPA5 from further study.
