According to the results of this study, the postoperative levels of VEGF and MMP9 in the combination group were significantly lower than those in the surgical group, indicating that neoadjuvant chemotherapy interventions could significantly inhibit the expression of VEGF, MMP9, and other cytokines, which could increase tumor growth in patients with reduced ability, resulting in further improvements in patients' outcome. Here, MMP9 is linked to neoplasm.
