Since CD44v6 regulated WNT3A, as well as IL17A and PN production in CAFs (Figures 5A, B), we showed that targeting either WNT3A, or IL17A, or CD44v6 or PN in the CICs + CAFs implanted PD-FR and SW480-FR SQ tumors in immune-deficient mice was effective in reducing colon tumor growth (Figures 10B–E versus Figures 8B–E). The gene discussed is WNT3A; the disease is colonic neoplasm.
