The levels of METTL1/WDR4 and m7G tRNA modifications are increased in human intrahepatic cholangiocarcinomas (ICCs), and cell cycle promoting mRNAs, such as those encoding cyclin A2, cyclin D2, CDK6, CDK8, and oncogenic mRNAs such as epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), were most translationally affected by m7G tRNAs (13). This evidence concerns the gene EGFR and intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma.
