NOTCH1 and laryngeal carcinoma: Consistent with the conclusion of Dai et al. [9], our previous data showed that the expression level of Notch1 in laryngeal cancer tissues was significantly higher than that in normal mucosal tissues and was positively associated with lymph node metastasis and clinical stage [10], suggesting that aberrant Notch1 signaling may be involved in regulating the malignant process of laryngeal carcinoma.
