In addition, the expression levels of HK2 were significantly upregulated in different glioma subgroups, including glioblastoma, oligodendroglioma, anaplastic astrocytoma, anaplastic oligoastrocytoma and anaplastic oligodendroglioma, in TCGA, Bredel, Mural, Sun, and French datasets (Fig. 1F-K, Supplementary Table S2), suggesting that HK2 may play an important role in glioma tumorigenesis and development.
