Similarly, 669 LGG and GBM specimens in TCGA dataset from the UCSC Xena database (Supplementary Table S3) revealed that HK2 expression was closely correlated with the clinicopathological features of glioma patients, including malignancy (P < 0.001), IDH mutation (P < 0.001), O-6-methylguanine DNA methyltransferase (MGMT) promoter status (P < 0.001), transcriptome subtype (P < 0.001), histology (P < 0.001), and 1p/19q co-deletion (P < 0.001) (Supplementary Table S4). The gene discussed is MGMT; the disease is glioblastoma.
