When APP/PS1 AD mice was administered by pseudoginsenoside-F11 at 8 mg/kg for 4 weeks, the expressions of β-amyloid precursor protein (APP) and Aβ1-40 in the cortex and hippocampus were significantly inhibited, and the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) were restored (Wang et al., 2013a).
