CDKN2A and cancer: Moreover, the CTNNB1-MYC pathway, TP53-CDKN2A-RB1 pathway and MYC-CUL1-RB1 pathway are engaged only by top DSI-ranked drivers, indicating their relative weakness in cancer promotion despite high frequency of mutation, whereas the TCEB1-VHL-HIF1A pathway—only by top NDSI-ranked drivers, suggesting that this pathway has very strong tumour-promoting potential whilst being mutated more rarely.
