Furthermore, intracisternal injection of AAV overexpressing VEGFC in male mice subjected to SCVS did not affect animals’ performances in depression- and anxiety-like behavioral tests, as well as changes in body weight (Supplementary Fig. 10i–q), suggesting existence of a “ceiling effect” for the role of meningeal lymphatics in regulating depression- and anxiety-like behaviors.
