Analysis of paired healthy/tumor samples further confirmed a significantly higher expression of DARS-AS1 in the tumors of bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD), lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), and colon adenocarcinoma (COAD) (p value < 0.05) (Fig. 1e–m). This evidence concerns the gene DARS1 and prostate adenocarcinoma.
