CD8A and hepatocellular carcinoma: Rong et al. 202 studied the bacteria-reactive CD8+ T cell response in HBV-associated hepatocellular carcinoma patients and found that circulating CD8+ T cells displayed remarkable enhanced immune responses against a series of commensals and bacteria, including Escherichia coli (E. coli), Enterococcus faecium, Bifidobacterium longum, Bacteroides fragilis, and Enterococcus hirae.
