PTPRC and hematologic disorder: In a small case series of pediatric and young adult female patients receiving bone marrow transplants for hematological disorders, male donor-derived cells were identified in intravascular, perivascular, and intraparenchymal locations in postmortem brain tissue sections and corresponded in distribution to leukocyte common antigen (LCA)-positive mononuclear leukocytes (Unger et al., 1993).
