As shown in Figure 6B, the C-terminal MLKL fragments were not visible in western blot analysis of samples from MLKLD140A-Flag and MLKLT357A/S358A-D140A-Flag expressing MM cells using anti-Flag antibody, suggesting that Asp140 was involved in the caspase-mediated cleavage of MLKL after cell death induction in MM cells (Figure 6C). Here, MLKL is linked to Miyoshi myopathy.
