In a previous study of AD rats, we found that JDYZF improved the cognitive impairment of AD rats induced by Aβ25–35, reduced the expression levels of Aβ and pyroptosis-related proteins in the hippocampus of AD rats, and downregulated the expression levels of Aβ1–42, interleukin (IL)-1β, and IL-18 in the hippocampus and cortex, thereby reducing neuroinflammation. The gene discussed is IL1B; the disease is Alzheimer disease.
