Compared with non-NASH participants, those with NASH were more likely to be older, had a higher BMI, higher waist circumference, higher levels of ALT, ALP, AST, and GGT, higher prevalence of hypertension, diabetes mellitus, dyslipidemia, cardiovascular disease, and cancer, had lower education levels, and lower frequencies of regular exercise (p < 0.05). This evidence concerns the gene GPT and cardiovascular disorder.
