The GO analysis showed that 383 GO terms were significantly enriched, including 331 biological processes, five cellular components, and 47 molecular functions, involving interleukin-1 beta production, inflammasome complex, and CARD domain binding, indicating that these pyroptosis-related genes play a role in diabetic retinopathy through pyroptosis and inflammatory response (Figures 3A–D). This evidence concerns the gene IL1B and diabetic retinopathy.
