Certain antigen genes have consistent prognostic roles in multiple cancers, such as those of the FUT family, including FUT7, FUT3 and FUT6 from the Lewis antigen system; among them, the prognostic role of FUT7 in BLCA [29], FUT3 in clear cell renal cell carcinoma [30], and FUT family in acute myeloid leukemia [31] have been validated. This evidence concerns the gene FUT6 and bladder transitional cell carcinoma.
