In intermediate risk hormone receptor (HR) positive, HER2 negative breast cancer (BC), the decision regarding adjuvant chemotherapy might be also supported by using the PAM50-based genomic signature, the chemoendocrine score (CES), which is predictive of poorer relapse-free survival in patients with ROR-intermediate IBC treated with either adjuvant endocrine therapy only or no adjuvant systemic therapy, but not in patients treated with adjuvant chemotherapy [57]. This evidence concerns the gene NR4A1 and inflammatory breast carcinoma.
