The results showed that the expression of AOS, LOX1, JAZ1, HIN1, HSR203, POD, SOD and CAT was significantly higher in transgenic cotton overexpressing GhCYP710A1 than in control after infection by Verticillium wilt, while the expression of NDR1, NPR1 and PR1 in transgenic cotton had no significant change compared with that in wild-type (Figure 9A). This evidence concerns the gene NPR1 and infection.
