To further investigate the biological role of NXPH4 in gemcitabine-resistant bladder cancer cell lines, we knocked down the expression of NXPH4 in T24GEM-R and 5637GEM-R cell lines and found that it reversed the chemoresistance of T24GEM-R and 5637GEM-R cells as shown by GEM-R cell survival (Figure 5C). Here, NXPH4 is linked to urinary bladder cancer.
