CRP and neoplasm: The role of Interleuchin-6 (IL6), Tumor Necrosis Factor-alfa (TNF-alfa), C reactive protein (CRP), fibrinogen, and neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio (NLR) in MPM has been widely investigated by several authors [32,33,34,35,36,37,38] confirming that these molecules are not only overexpressed in this neoplasia, but they also have a negative prognostic impact.
