High levels of TC, LDL-C, ApoB, and ApoB/ApoA-I ratio were not associated with incident AF in any of the subgroup analyses (p for interaction >0.1), except for ApoB/ApoA-1 ≥0.94 in untreated participants with incident HF/CHD (HR = 1.27, 95% CI: 1.10 to 1.45) (p for interaction = 0.003). This evidence concerns the gene APOA1 and atrial fibrillation.
