The area of hepatic fibrosis detected by Sirius red staining and densitometric analysis showed a higher relative fibrosis density in CD1d-/- mice than WT mice fed MCD diets (2.2 vs. 1.6, p =.036), while no morphological change was observed between FFD-treated WT and CD1d-/- mice (1.4 vs. 1.5, p = .873) (Figure 1(F)). Here, CD1D is linked to Hepatic fibrosis.
