In summary, the results reported here suggest a positive feedback effect where preosteoblast and TNC in the osteogenic microenvironment regulate ligand independent AR-V7 splicing and stability via Src activation, while reciprocally, activated Src and AR-V7 regulate autocrine TNC expression in prostate cancer cells further modifying the osteogenic microenvironment (Fig. 7). This evidence concerns the gene AR and prostate carcinoma.
