The logistic regression analysis adjusted for osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, and the propensity score estimated from sex, age, and BMI showed that IGF-1 ≤ 82 ng/mL was not significant for LS (p = 0.052), but the OR was 2.275 and the 95% CI was 0.993–5.324, suggesting that this cutoff value is useful for distinguishing between non-LS and LS. This evidence concerns the gene IGF1 and osteoarthritis.
