We included two additional candidates; PSMA, as this protein is one of the most common vaccine targets for prostate cancer and is expressed in PIN as well as invasive prostate cancer28 and c-Myc, as our murine prostate cancer cell line was derived from the Hi-myc transgenic mouse and constitutively expresses c-Myc29 (Fig. 1). The gene discussed is MYC; the disease is prostate cancer.
