GDI1 and COVID-19: A positive COVID‐19 diagnosis comes from isolation of the virus, followed by real‐time polymerase chain reaction (RT‐PCR) identification of COVID‐19 specific viral markers including RdRp (RNA‐dependent RNA polymerase), E (virus envelope) and N (virus nucleocapsid) genes, and ORF1ab gene (open reading frame 1a and 1b) that are found in the sputum and saliva samples of a positive person.[16] The incubation period of COVID‐19 was first predicted to be ∼5 days.
