Gratifyingly, bavachin, a bioactive compound extracted from the fruit of Psoralea corylifolia, induces ferroptosis through the STAT3/p53/SLC7A11 axis in osteosarcoma cells, such as MG63 and HOS cells, thus inhibiting the further development of osteosarcoma (Figure 4(a)) [56]. The gene discussed is SLC7A11; the disease is osteosarcoma.
