The multivariate Cox regression analyses for 50% eGFR decline endpoint revealed that the increased SBP (HR:1.015, 95% CI [1.006–1.024], p < 0.05), DKD (HR for DKD vs. NDKD: 2.886, 95% CI [1.784–4.668], p < 0.001), decreased serum Alb (HR:0.882, 95% CI [0.852–0.914], p < 0.001), higher CKD stages (HR:1.695, 95% CI [1.098–2.618], p < 0.05) were independent risk factors for the progression of 50% eGFR decline endpoint (Figure 2(A)). This evidence concerns the gene ALB and chronic kidney disease.
